We know that a healthy, thriving community is the basis of economic vitality, and the Chamber makes a wide reaching effort to support local community non-profit organizations in numerous ways.<\/p>\n

Our non-profit Rainbow Chamber Foundation, funded entirely by private donations and sponsors, provides academic scholarships to LGBTQ+ and allied students, in addition to a variety of other programs and non-profit organizations.<\/p>\n

The Foundation provides leadership and fundraising support for other community projects and causes, such as the 2008 No On 8 Campaign and the Lavender Heights Rainbow Crosswalks and street toppers.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Chamber Foundation\u2019s Palmer Family HealthCare Education Scholarship was established in memory of Mary & Frank Palmer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aiding LGBTQ+ and allied healthcare students is Frank and Mary\u2019s way of showing appreciation for the selfless and compassionate care they received from nursing staff during their final years.<\/p>\n

Because of your generosity, the scholarship has been able to give numerous individuals funding towards their degree in a healthcare field or certified educational program of their choice.<\/p>\n

But as we all know, the cost of higher education continues to rise making it harder for students to achieve their academic goals. That’s where we come in!<\/p>\n
