Mission & Values

Our Mission

The mission of the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber is to serve as a resource to LGBTQ+ owned businesses by connecting small businesses, large corporations, community partners and allies. Through membership resources, business development, leadership and social action, our continued investment in the LGBTQ+ community fosters a diverse business environment in partnership with the Rainbow Chamber Foundation, that positions the greater Sacramento region as leading the way in diversity, equity, inclusive, and belonging.

Our Vision

We envision Sacramento business owners as leaders in promoting an inclusive business community for all. We will continue to grow with the LGBTQ+ and allied community, offering the resources needed to continue on the path of strong economic growth.

What We Do

Established in 2001, the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce and Rainbow Chamber Foundation serve LGBTQ+ and allied business owners and our community. The Chamber offers a prosperous and inclusive community that connects local business owners with resources to network, generate business visibility and create lasting friendships.

Through our 5013(c) non profit Rainbow Chamber Foundation, we host a number of charity events that provide funding to LGBTQ+ and allied scholarship programs, LGBTQ+ health organizations, Queer prom and more. The philanthropic work of the Rainbow Chamber and our Foundation has raised and donated over $375k in donations to local charities and has awarded more than 100 scholarships to LGBTQ+ and allied students.
